Meta reclassifies Utility submissions that contain promotional content — cross-sell lines, discount codes, or "shop more" buttons. Keep transactional templates strictly about the order: items, amount, address, timeline. Put offers in a separate Marketing template.

Can I send an abandoned-cart message on WhatsApp?

Yes, as a Marketing template to opted-in customers. It must include an opt-out, and it performs best sent once, 1 to 4 hours after abandonment, referencing the actual items left behind. Repeated cart nudges to the same user raise block rates quickly.

How do COD confirmation messages reduce RTO?

Return-to-origin on COD orders in India commonly runs 20 to 30 percent. A confirmation message with Confirm and Cancel buttons filters out impulse and accidental orders before you ship, and stores report meaningful RTO reduction from this single template.
