A client whose morning is your afternoon
Prague runs on Central European Time, UTC+1, and moves to summer time, UTC+2, from the last Sunday in March to the last Sunday in October, under the EU rule it has followed since 1979. India does not change, so Prague is three and a half hours behind IST in summer and four and a half in winter.
That is a kind gap for an Indian team. A Prague office opening at 9 a.m. is 12:30 p.m. IST in summer and 1:30 p.m. in winter, and its 5 p.m. close is 8:30 or 9:30 p.m. IST. Most Prague conversations fit inside an Indian working day with a late finish, with no night shift.
Templates for Czech consumers go in Czech, code cs; for service-centre staff, English, code en. Inside the 24-hour window after someone writes, agents can reply in either. InfiQ's own product support is in English and Hindi.
