WhatsApp Business API for Nokha's mandi traders, namkeen units and pilgrim taxis

Nokha began in 1927 as a krishi mandi set up by Maharaja Ganga Singh: a market town first, laid out on a plan.

Maharaja Ganga Singh set Nokha up as a krishi mandi in 1927, so the town began with a market rather than a fort. Its first question of the day is still about a rate, and on WhatsApp that question decides what may be sent back.

Four Nokha trades, four kinds of message

Each row is a Nokha business; each column is a kind of WhatsApp message. Open a cell to see what that business would send in it, or why it sends nothing.

The left column is where Nokha's trades do most of their talking, because farmers, shops and passengers usually write first. Every cell to its right is a template, approved once and sent when the other side has gone quiet.

Nokha in seven lines

Invest India's ODOP list and Rajasthan Tourism's Bikaner guide; the town's founding, roads and nearby temples are general background from Wikipedia.

  1. 01

Nokha is a town and municipality in Bikaner district and gives its name to a tehsil of villages around it.[1]

  2. 02

It was established on 19 September 1927 as a krishi mandi, an agricultural market, by Maharaja Ganga Singh, ruler of Bikaner state, and was laid out as a planned town.[1]

  3. 03

State Highway 20 connects it directly to the Salasar Balaji temple and the Tal Chhapar sanctuary, and the Sengal Dhora Shiv temple is about 30 km away.[1]

  4. 04

The Karni Mata temple at Deshnok, about 30 km from Nokha, is known the world over for the kabas, rats, that roam freely within its precincts.[1],[2]

  5. 05

Rajasthan Tourism's shopping list for Bikaner runs to rasgullas, bhujia, lacquer bangles and carpets; the Bikaner Camel Festival is held every year.[2]

  6. 06

Bikaner's airport at Naal is 10 km from the city, with direct connections from Delhi and Jaipur.[2]

  7. 07

Invest India's ODOP list names Bikaneri namkeen for Bikaner district; IBEF lists Hindi and Marwari among Rajasthan's languages and handicrafts among its key industries.[3],[4]

A town that began as a market

Most towns in the Bikaner country grew around a fort or a well. Nokha was founded as a mandi, which means its oldest habit is the one WhatsApp suits best: someone asks a price, someone answers. On the official API that answer costs the service rate and needs no approval, whatever language it is written in.

The messages that need more care come later in the deal: the sale slip after a lot is sold, the invoice when a carton of namkeen leaves for another state, the reminder when a payment is due. Those go as templates, and the people who receive them have already done business with the sender.

Who in Nokha starts first

Four businesses that follow from the mandi, the district's namkeen and the roads to the temples.

Mandi traders and commission agents

The town was founded as a krishi mandi, and farmers and buyers still ask the day's rate before they bring or buy a load.[1]

  • Rate answers in reply
  • Sale slip for each lot
  • Payment notes and reminders

Namkeen and bhujia units

Bikaneri namkeen is the district's ODOP product, and bhujia is on Rajasthan Tourism's Bikaner shopping list.[3],[2]

  • Price list in reply to a shop
  • Invoice and LR number on dispatch
  • New-line notes to shops that opted in

Taxis and buses for the temples

Deshnok's Karni Mata temple is about 30 km away and SH-20 runs to Salasar Balaji.[1]

  • Fare and timing replies
  • Booking confirmation
  • Driver details the evening before

Shops and suppliers in the town

A municipality and tehsil headquarters serves the villages around it, and customers ask before they travel in.[1]

  • Stock and price answers
  • Order-ready notes
  • New-stock notes to customers who opted in

Hindi templates, replies in Marwari

Marwari is one of the languages IBEF lists for Rajasthan, but it is not a Meta template language. Hindi and English are.

A farmer who writes in Marwari gets his answer in Marwari, because replies need no template. Only the messages a business sends after a quiet day, the sale slip or the invoice, must be approved templates in Hindi or English. InfiQ's own support works in English and Hindi.

Questions Nokha businesses ask

  1. Q1

Farmers ask our commission agency at the Nokha krishi mandi for the day's rate before they bring a load. Is each answer a template?

No. A farmer who writes opens a 24-hour window, and your rate, the auction time and any photos are replies at ₹0.145 each, in Marwari, Hindi or any language. A template is needed only for a message you send after he has been quiet for a day.

  2. Q2

Our Nokha unit makes Bikaneri namkeen and ships cartons to shops in other states. Can the invoice and the transporter's LR number go on WhatsApp?

Yes. A dispatch note for an order the shop placed is a utility template at ₹0.19, with the invoice PDF in its header and the LR number, carton count and transporter as variables. It costs the India rate wherever the shop is in India.

  3. Q3

Families book our taxi from Nokha to the Karni Mata temple at Deshnok and on to Salasar on SH-20. What does the confirmation cost?

A confirmation of a trip the family booked is a utility template at ₹0.19 per delivered message, with the date, pickup time and driver as variables. Their questions before and after booking are replies at ₹0.145.

  4. Q4

Can our Nokha bhujia brand send its new price list to every shop in our ledger, including ones that never asked?

Only to shops that agreed to hear about rates and new lines. An unasked price list is a marketing template at ₹0.94. Ask each shop for the yes when it next orders or writes to you, and InfiQ records the source and date of each one.

  5. Q5

Visitors on their way to the Tal Chhapar sanctuary ask our guesthouse in Nokha about rooms. Can our staff reply in Marwari?

Yes. Replies need no template, so your staff answer in Marwari, Hindi or the visitor's own language for 24 hours from their last message, at ₹0.145 each. The booking confirmation you send later must be a template in Hindi or English.

  6. Q6

Our firm at the Nokha mandi bills traders in Busy. Can payment reminders go out without anyone typing them?

Yes. InfiQ's native Busy integration sends invoices and automatic payment reminders on WhatsApp, with no integration fee. Each reminder to a trader's Indian number is a utility message at ₹0.19.
