The Kansas City Area Development Council (OneKC), the Embassy of India and Meta.
OneKC describes a region of two states, 18 counties and more than 50 communities, with 2.7 million people.[1]
Its KC Global Design initiative says Kansas City is headquarters to top-25 US design firms and one of the largest concentrations of design talent in the country, leading in sports architecture and in engineering for power, telecom and transportation.[2]
The KC Animal Health Corridor is described as the world's largest concentration of animal-health companies.[3]

OneKC's employer list puts Amazon, Ford Motor Company, Garmin International, Children's Mercy and HCA Midwest Health in its 5,000–9,999 employee band, and Burns & McDonnell in its 2,500–4,999 band.[5]
Under the jurisdictions in force since 15 July 2025, Missouri is served by the Consulate General of India in Chicago and Kansas by the Consulate General in Houston.[6]
Meta says WhatsApp does not currently deliver marketing template messages to users with US phone numbers.[7]
