Lodges near the temple
The temple draws pilgrims and its annual festival is held with large celebrations, so lodges answer room questions in waves.[9]

- Booking confirmations
- Check-in and directions notes
Andhra Pradesh
Kadiri was first called Khadripuram, and its temple's legend has Narasimha appearing from the roots of a khadri tree. Pilgrims now ask a lodge about rooms on WhatsApp before they set out; the answer is easy, the festival offer next year is not.
A Kadiri business
For the lodges, taxis and shops that serve pilgrims to Kadiri's Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple and Thimmamma Marrimanu, the town's groundnut traders and silk sellers, and the units on NH42: which replies need no template, which notes do, what consent the 2027 rules ask for, and what each message costs.
See it work
Scrub the timeline: three dates that put Kadiri in the district it belongs to today, then the two that decide how a Kadiri lodge, trader or shop may message people now.
A Kadiri lodge's list of past guests has grown over many festivals. It holds people who stayed, not necessarily people who agreed to hear about next year's rooms, and from May 2027 that difference has to be on record.
Room replies and booking confirmations are a separate matter: replies inside the 24-hour service window need no template, and a confirmation for a guest's own stay is a utility template. The India guide sets out the DPDP timeline.

Five kinds of business, from the temple street to the industrial estate.
The temple draws pilgrims and its annual festival is held with large celebrations, so lodges answer room questions in waves.[9]
The historic banyan about 25 km from the town holds a large jatara on Shivaratri, and pilgrims book a ride before they arrive.[9]
Groundnut, paddy, cotton and sunflower are among the area's crops, and the town has a groundnut research centre of Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University.[9],[2]
Silk sarees and Dharmavaram silk sarees are on the district's ODOP list, and the town has a sericulture research institute.[3],[9]
Kadiri has an industrial estate set up under APIIC, and its units' buyers want order, dispatch and payment news.[9]
Market brief
From the Sri Sathya Sai district website, Invest India's ODOP list and IBEF's Andhra Pradesh profile, with the town's temple, roads and institutions from Wikipedia.
Sri Sathya Sai district was notified on 1 February 2022, carved from Ananthapuramu, with its headquarters at Puttaparthy; Kadiri division has eight of its 29 mandals.[1]
The district site records that Kadiri and other mandals were moved from Kadapa to Ananthapuramu in 1910, and that Ananthapuramu was separated from Bellary in 1882.[1]
Kadiri is a special-grade municipality and the headquarters of Kadiri mandal and revenue division; it was first called Khadripuram, after the khadara plants of the nearby forests.[9]
NH42 runs through the town towards Anantapur and Tirupati, a bypass has been approved for its truck traffic, and Kadiri station is on the Dharmavaram–Pakala line.[9]
Institutions include a groundnut research centre, a sericulture research institute, a government polytechnic and the STSN Government Degree and PG College.[9]
The district's produce page lists paddy, groundnut, cotton, corn, redgram, castor, sugarcane and sunflower.[2]
The ODOP list names silk sarees, leather puppets and Dharmavaram silk sarees for Sri Sathya Sai district.[3]
IBEF lists tourism, textile and leather, and agro and food-based industry among Andhra Pradesh's key industries.[4]
Telugu, Kannada, Hindi and English (India) are all on Meta's list of template languages. A Kadiri lodge writes its booking template in Telugu first and adds Kannada for the pilgrims and buyers who read it.
Inside the 24-hour window after a pilgrim or buyer writes, staff can reply in any language with no template. InfiQ's own support team works in English and Hindi.
| Language | Meta code | Use it for |
|---|---|---|
| Telugu | te | Pilgrims, growers, shops and drivers across Rayalaseema |
| Kannada | kn | Pilgrims and buyers from Karnataka |
| Hindi | hi | Visitors and lorry drivers from northern states |
| English (India) | en_IN | Bills, banks and buyers of the estate's units |
