One Balotra textile order, from rate question to delivered bales
A buyer in another state asks a Balotra textile trader for a rate, the trader books a processing unit and a transporter, and the bales go out. Follow the packets to see which messages are replies and which have to be approved templates.

Balotra in eight lines
From Invest India's ODOP list and Rajasthan Tourism; the town's former district, local body, district towns and transport are general background from Wikipedia. The district portal could not be read.
Invest India's V33 ODOP list, dated 31 December 2025, lists Balotra among Rajasthan's 41 districts, with textile products as its ODOP entry, listed separately from Barmer.[1]
Balotra was previously in Barmer district, whose ODOP entry in the same list is kasheedakari; the new district followed the state's announcement of new districts in March 2023.[3],[1]
The city is governed by the Balotra Municipal Council. The district's towns include Pachpadra, Jasol, Siwana and Samdari, and its villages Tilwara and Khed.[3]
Rajasthan Tourism says the Mallinath cattle fair takes place at Tilwara, an area also known for archaeological discoveries, and goes on for two weeks.[2]
It places the Rani Bhatiyani temple at Jasol, and calls the Vishnu temple at Khed one of the region's most important places to visit.[2]
It lists traditionally dyed fabrics and hand-block printed textiles among the region's crafts.[2]
Balotra has rail links to Jodhpur, Jaipur and Chandigarh, and private and RSRTC buses to cities across India.[3]
