Service status templates approve fastest as Utility when they reference a job card or registration number. Keep offers out of them entirely, or Meta may reclassify the template as Marketing at higher cost.

For insurance renewal reminders, state the expiry date as a variable and avoid words like 'best price' or 'guaranteed lowest premium' in the body; rate promises are a common rejection reason in this category.

Keep them purely informational. The moment you add a discount or upsell line, Meta treats the template as Marketing, which changes pricing and requires opt-out handling.

Can I send insurance renewal reminders on WhatsApp?

Yes, renewal reminders for a policy the customer already holds with you are standard Utility messages. Mention the policy or registration number and the expiry date, and stick to logistics. Avoid promising specific premiums or claiming the cheapest rates, as those claims get templates rejected and can breach IRDAI advertising norms.

How far in advance should I send a test-drive reminder?

A confirmation immediately after booking plus one reminder 2-3 hours before the slot works well for most dealerships. Include the showroom address and a contact number in the reminder, and add a reschedule button. No-show rates drop noticeably when the customer can move the slot in one tap instead of silently skipping it.

Can I message old customers about a seasonal checkup camp?

Only if they have opted in to receive marketing messages from your business. Camp invitations are Marketing templates, so each one needs a visible opt-out such as a Stop offers button or a 'Reply STOP to opt out' footer.
