A health score Meta assigns to a WhatsApp Business number based on how customers respond to its messages, shown as green, yellow or red.

What Quality Rating means

Quality rating is a rolling measure of a WhatsApp Business number's messaging health, derived largely from recent customer signals such as blocks and reports. Meta shows it as green (high), yellow (medium) or red (low) in the account.

A low quality rating can trigger a drop in a number's messaging limits and, if it stays low, restrictions on sending. It is driven by relevance and consent: messaging only opted-in customers, with useful content at a reasonable frequency, keeps quality high.
