A fair town and a plant town at once
The Vaidyanath temple gives Parli its peaks. In the weeks before Mahashivratri, lodges, shops and cab owners hear from pilgrims who are planning the trip, and nearly all of that is cheap to answer: the pilgrim writes first, and every answer for the next 24 hours is a reply. The templates a lodge needs are few, a booking confirmation and a receipt, and they are written once.
The power station, the sugar factory and the cement plant give the town its steady weeks. Their transporters, suppliers and the growers who bring cane send slips, loading notes and payment advice, which are utility messages, and they are the kind a business can send straight from its own software over the API. Offers are the exception in both calendars, and they go only to people who said yes.
