A link a cruise passenger taps, so the passenger writes first
A taxi firm, hotel or tour operator in Vasco prints a WhatsApp link on its card at the cruise gate or the reception desk. Pick a sample and see the link it makes: the guest taps it, the message is already typed, and the conversation starts on their side.
The prefilled text is URL-encoded, so Marathi and Hindi letters survive the link. A guest who taps it has written first, and the 24-hour service window lets you answer with fares, photos and directions without a template.
Tapping a link is not consent to offers. If a guest wants to hear about next season's tours, ask in the chat, record the yes, and send offers only as approved marketing templates. The India guide covers consent under the DPDP Act.
