WhatsApp Business API for Khargone's cotton ginners, chilli traders and Maheshwar weavers

Khargone's district site calls it one of the leading cotton and chilli districts, and the city a centre of ginning factories. In season one trading number can take questions about kapas, chilli, sarees, payments and trucks at once, and each belongs at a different desk.

For Khargone's cotton ginners and traders, the chilli traders at Bediya, Maheshwar's saree sellers and the small industries of Khargone-Nimrani: how one WhatsApp number can route growers, buyers and drivers to the right desk, which templates to write in Hindi, Gujarati and Marathi, and what each message costs in rupees.

See it work

A Khargone trading number on a season morning

Run the router: six messages arrive at one number, about cotton, chilli at Bediya, a Maheshwari saree, a payment and a truck to Indore. Switch the strategy and watch which desk each one reaches.

A Khargone business that buys cotton, trades chilli and sells sarees on one number does not need three numbers; it needs the messages sorted. Answers inside each sender's window are replies, wherever they are routed. The messages the business starts later, slips and bills, are utility templates.

The 24-hour service window explains the reply rule, and the India guide covers consent under the DPDP Act, whose duties apply from 13 May 2027.

Khargone, from the district's own pages

From the Khargone district website's home, economy, history and STD pages, the Invest India ODOP list and IBEF's Madhya Pradesh profile.

The district site gives Khargone 6,477.89 sq km, 1,421 villages and a population of 18,72,413, in the central Narmada valley between the Vindhyas and the Satpuras, with Hindi, Nimadi, Gujarati and Baareli spoken.[1]

The district came into being as West Nimar with the state on 1 November 1956 and was divided into Khargone and Barwani on 25 May 1998.[3]

The site calls Khargone one of the leading cotton-producing and chilli-producing districts; its economy page names the city a major centre of cotton ginning factories and puts a red chilli mandi, which it calls world famous, at Bediya near Sanawad.[1],[2]

Maize, tuvar and soybean are the main kharif crops and wheat and gram the rabi crops; the district counts about 13,779 small and 14 medium and large industries, with industrial areas at Khargone-Nimrani, Badwah, Padli and Bhikangaon.[2]

Maheshwar is known for Maheshwari sarees and the Devi Ahilya fort and ghat on the Narmada; the Dejla-Deora dam on the Kunda irrigates about 8,000 hectares, and Mandleshwar has a hydropower project.[1],[2]

Khargone's STD code is 07282 and its PIN 451001; Maheshwar is 07283 and Sanawad 07280.[4]

The ODOP list names chilli as Khargone's product. IBEF names cotton and oilseeds as Madhya Pradesh's cash crops, textiles among its key industries, and cotton-yarn exports of Rs 8,415 crore in FY25.[5],[6]

Hindi for Nimar, Gujarati and Marathi for the mills

Meta approves each template once per language. A Khargone business writes most templates in Hindi, and adds Gujarati or Marathi for mills and buyers in the neighbouring states.

Nimadi and Baareli, both spoken in the district, are not Meta template languages, so templates go out in Hindi; inside the 24-hour window, staff can answer in Nimadi or any other language. InfiQ's own support team works in English and Hindi.

What a Khargone business runs on InfiQ

The router, as a product.

  1. Shared team inbox

The cotton, chilli, saree, accounts and transport desks share one number, with transfers, labels and private notes, so a grower's payment question reaches accounts with the lot beside it.

  2. Template manager and library

Draft the weight slip, the payment slip and the bale list in Hindi, Gujarati and Marathi from the library, and track every version through Meta's approval.

  3. Busy accounting integration

A ginner or trader keeping books in Busy sends bills and payment reminders on WhatsApp automatically, with no integration fee.

  4. Consent records and opt-out enforcement

A Maheshwar seller's new-weave message goes only to buyers whose opt-in source and time are recorded, and STOP is enforced at platform level.

Questions Khargone businesses ask

  1. Q1

Growers ask our Khargone ginning factory on WhatsApp whether it is buying kapas today. Are those answers billed as templates?

No. Each grower's message opens a 24-hour window, and your answers inside it are replies at ₹0.145 each. Only a message the factory starts after the window has closed, like the next day's weight and payment slip, needs an approved template.

  2. Q2

We buy red chilli at the Bediya mandi near Sanawad. Can each grower get a weight and payment slip in Hindi?

Yes, to growers who agreed to receive it. A slip with the grower's own lot, weight, rate and amount is a utility template at ₹0.19, as long as it carries no offer. Approve it in Hindi; a grower who answers in Nimadi can be replied to in Nimadi inside the window.

  3. Q3

Our Maheshwari saree shop in Maheshwar wants to send photos of new weaves. Can they go to everyone who has bought from us?

Only to buyers who asked for offers. A new-weave message is a marketing template at ₹0.94, and an earlier purchase is not that agreement. Photos you send because a buyer asked are replies inside the window, with no template.

  4. Q4

Cotton bales from our Khargone gin go to mills in Gujarat and Maharashtra. Can the mills' buyers get bale lists in Gujarati or Marathi?

Yes. A bale list for the mill's own order is a utility template at ₹0.19; approve one version in Gujarati (gu) and one in Marathi (mr), or English (India) for purchase teams. Every +91 number pays the same India rate, whichever state the mill is in.

  5. Q5

Our unit in the Khargone-Nimrani industrial area runs shifts. Can workers get roster changes on WhatsApp?

Yes, to workers who agreed to receive work messages there. A roster change is a utility template at ₹0.19, approved once in Hindi. A worker who replies to swap a shift opens a 24-hour window in which supervisors answer freely.

  6. Q6

Visitors to Maheshwar's Ahilya ghat book our guest house on WhatsApp. Can we send check-in details and Nimad Utsav notices?

Check-in details for a guest's own booking are a utility template; a notice inviting guests to the Nimad Utsav is marketing and goes only to guests who asked for event news. Start with a 7-day Lite trial, no card needed; once Meta business verification is complete, the number is usually live in about two hours.
