From a terracotta plough to an implement workshop
Among the finds at Banawali, the Harappan site in Fatehabad district, is a terracotta model of a plough. Thousands of years later the district's ODOP entry is agriculture implements, beside cotton and agri-based products. The farm is still the customer.
That makes the WhatsApp question simple for a Fatehabad workshop or trader. Farmers write first, about a rate, a part or a delivery date, and every answer to them is a reply. The workshop's own messages are few and predictable: the bill, the ready-for-pickup note, a payment reminder. Write those once as templates in Hindi or Punjabi, and keep offers for the farmers who asked to hear them.
