WhatsApp Business API for Hansi's bazaar shops, traders and workshops

Barsi Gate, its Persian inscription dated 1304–05, still stands amid Hansi's bazaar, 26 km east of Hisar on the road to Delhi. The shops behind it answer their customers' chats with two or three people at one counter.

For shops in the bazaar around Hansi's Barsi Gate, cotton and textile traders, units in the district's steel, farm-implement and dairy trades, and the cabs that take visitors to the Char Qutub: how one WhatsApp number gets each chat to the person who can answer it, and what each message costs.

Hansi in seven lines

From the Hisar district administration's pages, Invest India's ODOP list, IBEF's Haryana profile and Meta's pricing documentation.

Barsi Gate, the main entrance to Hansi's ancient fort and still part of its outer defence wall, stands amid the town's bazaar; a Persian inscription above the doorway dates it to 1304–05 AD.[2]

The fort known as Prithvi Raj-ka-Qila is now a mound; a pillared hall, the Baradari, survives, and 57 bronze images of Jain Tirthankaras were recovered from the site.[2]

West of the town, the Char Qutub complex holds the tombs of four Sufi saints and a large mosque built by Firoz Shah Tughlaq, who founded Hisar in 1354.[2],[3]

Hansi lies 26 km east of Hisar on the Hisar–Delhi road; Hisar is 164 km west of Delhi on National Highway 9 and lists Hindi as its language.[2],[1]

The district administration describes Hisar as serving people from neighbouring parts of Rajasthan and Punjab, who come for medical care, seeds, livestock and education.[1]

Invest India's ODOP list names steel products, agriculture implements and dairy products for Hisar; IBEF counts Hisar among Haryana's textile centres and lists cotton, wheat and mustard among the state's key crops.[4],[5]

Meta charges for each delivered business message by its category and the recipient's country calling code, and a non-template reply can go out only within 24 hours of the customer's last message.[6]

One Hansi number, five kinds of chat

A textile shop in the bazaar by Barsi Gate gets rate questions, dispatch queries, payment screenshots, a Punjabi buyer and a visitor looking for the gate itself. Pick a routing rule and watch each chat reach the desk that can answer it.

Skills routing sends a chat to the desk that can settle it; sticky routing keeps a regular buyer with whoever served them last; round-robin shares the rest. Whichever rule you choose, an answer inside the 24-hour service window is an ordinary reply at ₹0.145 and needs no template.

The visitor asking for Barsi Gate has no skill tag, so the rule decides who takes it. That is the point of one shared number: nobody has to forward a screenshot to the right colleague's phone.

Who in Hansi shares a number between several people

Four kinds of business that follow from the town's bazaar, its district's trades and its monuments.

  1. 01

Shops in the Barsi Gate bazaar

The gate stands amid Hansi's bazaar, so the shops around it get walk-in buyers, phone orders and WhatsApp chats at the same counter.[2]

On WhatsApp: Photos and prices in reply · Keep-aside and pickup confirmations · Offers to buyers who opted in

  2. 02

    Cotton and textile traders

IBEF counts Hisar among Haryana's textile centres and lists cotton among the state's key crops; a trader answers rates, ships parcels and chases payments.[5]

On WhatsApp: Rate replies in Hindi or Punjabi · Dispatch notes with the transporter's details · Payment received confirmations

  3. 03

Units in the district's ODOP trades

Steel products, agriculture implements and dairy products are Hisar's ODOP entries; a unit sends quotes and price lists to buyers and dispatch notes after.[4]

On WhatsApp: Quotes and price lists as documents · Order and dispatch updates · Invoice PDFs on request

  4. 04

Cabs and guides for the monuments

Barsi Gate, the Prithvi Raj-ka-Qila mound and the Char Qutub tombs are on the district's list of places of interest.[2]

On WhatsApp: Car and driver confirmations · Location pins for each site · Replies about timings and routes

Hindi first, Punjabi for buyers from Punjab

The district lists Hindi, and it draws people from neighbouring Punjab and Rajasthan. Hindi, Punjabi and English are Meta template languages, each version approved separately.

Inside the 24-hour window, the counter can answer in Haryanvi, Hindi, Punjabi or whatever the customer writes. Only templates, the messages you send first, need an approved language. InfiQ's own support works in English and Hindi.

Families from Hisar ask our Hansi shop to keep a suit aside before they drive the 26 km over. Is our confirmation a template?+
