WhatsApp Business API for Botad's ginning mills, cotton traders and temple towns

In the district's own figures, cotton covered about 84% of everything sown. From October to January the season runs through the gin and the market, and a grower's question can arrive before the sun is up.

For Botad's ginning mills and cotton traders, its oil mills and the guest houses of Salangpur and Gadhada: how a grower's question and the mill's answers fit WhatsApp's 24-hour window, which messages need a Gujarati template, and the rupee cost.

See it work

A cotton grower's dawn question, and two windows

A grower near Gadhada messages a ginning mill in Botad before dawn, asking the day's rate. Drag the clock across two days to see what the mill can send freely, what restarts the window, and when only a template will do.

The grower's question at hour 20 is what keeps the conversation open: it restarts the clock, so the mill's answer and anything else it needs to say in the next 24 hours go as ordinary replies.

When the payment finally leaves, the window has closed, so the note goes as a short Gujarati utility template with the amount and the date. The 24-hour service window sets out the rule in full.

Questions Botad businesses ask

Growers bring cotton to our ginning mill in Botad from October to January. Can each grower get the weighment slip on WhatsApp?
Yes. If the grower has written to you in the last 24 hours, the slip can go as an ordinary reply at ₹0.145. Otherwise it goes as a Gujarati utility template with the net weight and the rate, at ₹0.19 per delivered message, to growers who agreed to WhatsApp updates.
Farmers around Gadhada ask our mill for the day's cotton rate before dawn. Can we send the rate to all of them every morning?
Only to growers who agreed to receive it, because a rate list you send unasked is a marketing template at ₹0.94. A grower who writes asking for the rate gets your answer as a service reply at ₹0.145. A mill can do both: the list for those who opted in, replies for the rest.
Pilgrims message our guest house near the Salangpur Hanumanji temple. Can they get booking confirmations in Gujarati and Hindi?
Yes. Gujarati (gu) and Hindi (hi) are both on Meta's template list, each approved separately. A booking confirmation is a utility template at ₹0.19; replies to pilgrims' questions inside the 24-hour window can be in any language.
Our oil mill buys sesame from farms in Barvala and Ranpur and sells to buyers in Ahmedabad. Which template language suits the dispatch notes?
Gujarati for buyers in Ahmedabad and across the state, English (India) for buyers outside it. A dispatch note with the invoice and vehicle number is a utility template at ₹0.19, and each language version is approved by Meta separately.
Pilgrims order from our shop near the Gadhada Swaminarayan temple in Botad district. Can we send each order-ready note on WhatsApp?
Yes, to pilgrims who asked for updates on their order. An order-ready note is a utility template at ₹0.19; replies to a pilgrim's own questions within 24 hours are service messages at ₹0.145. A festival offer is marketing and goes only to those who agreed to offers.
Our cotton trading firm in Ranpur keeps its books in Busy. Can unpaid bills be chased on WhatsApp without retyping them?
Yes. InfiQ's Busy integration sends payment reminders on WhatsApp automatically from your Busy data, with no integration fee. Each reminder is a utility template at ₹0.19, sent to customers who agreed to WhatsApp messages.
