A business day in Agar
WhatsApp Business API for Agar's orange traders, coriander yards and temple lodges
Agar Malwa became a district again in 2013, and oranges and coriander are its main crops. A buyer's question about a truckload can come at any hour; the 24-hour reply window decides what goes back without a template.

From a Parmar outpost to a WhatsApp order
Agar's place in Malwa has changed more than once. Scrub through the milestones the district records, and where a trader's phone fits today.
A young district with an old fort: Agar's administration is new again, but its trade in oranges and coriander, and its temple visitors, are not. What is new is that the buyer, the grower and the visitor all write first on WhatsApp.
When they do, a 24-hour window opens for free-form replies, each charged at the service rate. After it closes, only an approved template reaches them. The 24-hour service window explains the rule in full.

Agar Malwa in seven lines
From the Agar Malwa district administration's pages, Invest India's ODOP list and IBEF's Madhya Pradesh profile.
Agar held district status until 1956 and became a district again after 16 August 2013; under the Scindia state it had the status of a department, and its fort still houses the court.[2]
The district covers 2,701 sq km and 513 villages, with a population of about 5.71 lakh by its own count, and lists Hindi and Malwi as its languages.[1]
Orange and coriander are named as the district's main crops, and Invest India's One District One Product list names oranges as its product.[3],[5]
Its places of interest include the Baglamukhi temple at Nalkheda, the Tulja Maa and Baijnath temples, Amarkot fort, Moti Sagar pond, Kundaliya dam and the Salariya cow sanctuary.[1]
The Shahi Sawari, the annual royal ride of Baijnath Mahadev, goes out on the last Monday of the month of Shravan.[4]
Madhya Pradesh's area under horticultural crops rose from 27.29 to 28.39 lakh hectares, and production from 409.30 to 425.68 lakh tonnes, between 2023–24 and 2024–25, IBEF says.[6]
The state budgeted Rs 23,576 crore for agriculture and allied activities in FY27, 6.1% of its total expenditure.[6]

Who in Agar starts first
Four kinds of business in the district town and around it, and the messages that fit each.
- 01
Orange growers, traders and packers
Oranges are the district's ODOP product and one of its two main crops, sold by the truckload to buyers who ask for rates and slots by message.[5],[3]
On WhatsApp: Rate and quantity replies with photos · Truck-slot and loading confirmation · Payment-sent notice to growers
- 02
Coriander traders
Coriander is the district's other main crop, bought from growers and sold on to buyers outside the district.[3]
On WhatsApp: Lot weight and rate confirmation · Payment-date notices · Dispatch updates to buyers
- 03
- 04
Shops and dealers in the district town
As the headquarters of a 513-village district, Agar's shops serve customers who travel in from the villages and want to know a thing is in stock before they set out.[1]
On WhatsApp: Stock confirmation before a visit · Order hold and pickup time · Credit and payment reminders
Hindi templates, Malwi replies
The district lists Hindi and Malwi. Meta approves Hindi and English templates; Malwi is not on its list.
Templates go out in Hindi. Inside the 24-hour window your staff can reply in Malwi, Hindi or any language they write, with no template needed. InfiQ's own support team works in English and Hindi.
