A tappable button in a WhatsApp message that sends a pre-set reply back to the business when the customer taps it.

What Quick Reply Button means

A quick reply button is an interactive button attached to a WhatsApp message that, when tapped, sends a predefined text reply back to the business. Instead of typing, the customer picks an option — for example Yes, No, Track order or Talk to an agent.

Quick reply buttons make conversations faster and reduce ambiguity, which is especially useful for chatbots and confirmation flows such as cash-on-delivery verification. A message can carry several quick reply buttons, and the tapped reply arrives via webhook so automations can branch on it.
