What Call-to-Action Button means
A call-to-action (CTA) button is an interactive button in a WhatsApp message that takes the customer out to an action rather than sending a reply. The two standard types open a website URL or start a phone call. A common example is a Track your order button that links to a tracking page, or a Call us button.
CTA buttons differ from quick reply buttons, which send a preset text reply back into the chat. CTA buttons drive customers to external destinations, so they are useful for payments, bookings and support hand-offs.
