WhatsApp Business API for Nawalgarh's haveli guesthouses, guides and craft sellers
Nawalgarh's havelis hold some of Shekhawati's best frescoes, and every visit to them starts with a question about the way in.
Rajasthan Tourism calls Nawalgarh famous for its havelis, with some of Shekhawati's best frescoes. A visitor's day here is a string of questions, and each one restarts the clock on what a business may send.
For Nawalgarh's haveli guesthouses and homestays, the guides who walk visitors past Morarka and Bhagaton havelis, the sellers of Jhunjhunu's wooden handicrafts and the suppliers of the cement plant outside town: how long a visitor's question keeps the conversation free-form, what needs a template after it, and what each message costs.

One visitor's festival day in Nawalgarh, against the clock
A visitor writes to a haveli guesthouse during the Shekhawati Festival. Drag the clock through the next 24 hours to see what the guesthouse may send, and what changes when the window closes.
The clock runs from the visitor's last message, not the guesthouse's. A visitor who asks one more question about Mandawa at hour five has already given the guesthouse a fresh 24 hours, so most of a festival day's chat never needs a template at all.
Templates matter at the edges: the confirmation sent the evening before, when the visitor has gone quiet, and the bill after checkout. The 24-hour service window explains the rule in full.

Market brief
Nawalgarh in eight lines
From Rajasthan Tourism's Shekhawati guide, Invest India's ODOP list and IBEF's Rajasthan profile.
- 01
Nawalgarh lies between Jhunjhunu and Sikar and, in Rajasthan Tourism's words, is famous for its havelis, with some of the best frescoes in the region.[1]
- 02
Thakur Nawal Singh ruled over Nawalgarh and Mandawa.[1]
- 03
Its havelis include Bhagaton Ki Haveli, Morarka Haveli, the Grand Haveli, Koolwal Kothi, Roop Niwas Palace and Aath Haveli, and the Dr. Ramnath A. Poddar Museum is in the town.[1]
- 04
Many films, some Indian and some foreign, have been shot in Nawalgarh.[1]
- 05
Shekhawati, the region of Sikar, Jhunjhunu and Churu once held by Rao Shekha, saw its havelis built from the eighteenth century to the first half of the twentieth, with mythology and fauna at the core of their murals.[1]
- 06
The Shekhawati Festival falls in the second and third weeks of March; a ten-day handicraft and tourism fair at Abusar in January–February brings more than 100 stalls of weavers, artisans and small craft units.[1]
- 07
Regular trains reach Shekhawati from Delhi and Jaipur, direct buses run from Delhi and Rajasthan's cities, and the nearest airport is Jaipur, 113 km away.[1]
- 08
Invest India's ODOP list names wooden handicraft products for Jhunjhunu district, and IBEF reports that Shree Cement commissioned a new kiln at its integrated plant in Nawalgarh in December 2023.[2],[3]

On WhatsApp: Route and fare replies · Meeting-point reminder the evening before · Driver name and vehicle number
- 03

A town that is visited one question at a time
In Nawalgarh, the visitor's next question is what keeps the guesthouse's conversation open.
Nobody tours Nawalgarh's havelis on a fixed timetable. Visitors decide on the day which doors to try, whether the Poddar museum fits before lunch, and whether Mandawa is worth the drive. Each of those questions arrives as a message, and each one keeps the conversation open for another day.
That makes the town unusually cheap to serve well on WhatsApp's official API: nearly everything a guide or a guesthouse sends is a reply, charged at the service rate and written in whatever language the visitor used. Templates are for the few messages that go out after a quiet evening.
Hindi and English, and the visitors' own languages
IBEF lists Hindi, Marwari and English among Rajasthan's languages. Marwari and Shekhawati are not Meta template languages; Hindi and English are.
Each language is a separate template under the same name. A guesthouse whose guests write in French or German can add fr or de versions, which are also on Meta's list. Replies need no template; InfiQ's own support works in English and Hindi.
| Language | Meta code | Use it for |
|---|---|---|
| Hindi | hi | Visitors from Jaipur and Delhi, drivers and suppliers |
| English | en | Visitors and film units from abroad |
| English (India) | en_IN | Booking confirmations, bills and purchase orders |
