The culture capital of Shekhawati, by the state's own account: painted havelis, a fort from 1516, and guests who write first from far away.
Rajasthan Tourism calls Fatehpur the culture capital of Shekhawati. Its havelis bring visitors, and their phone numbers arrive in every format a guest register can hold.
For the haveli guesthouses, guides and drivers of Fatehpur Shekhawati, the galleries round its painted walls and the workshops making Sikar district's wooden furniture: how a guest register's mixed phone numbers become ones WhatsApp accepts, which templates to approve, and what each message costs.
See it work
A haveli guesthouse writes down numbers the way guests say them: a leading 0, a +91 with a (0) after it, a foreign number with 00 in front. Pick an entry to see it turned into the single format, E.164, that the WhatsApp Business API needs.
A booking confirmation sent to a badly written number is never delivered. Cleaning the register before the season means the check-in note, the pickup reminder and the thank-you reach every guest who agreed to them, Indian or foreign.
The country code also decides the price: Meta charges by the recipient's calling code, so a guest on a +91 number costs the India rate and one on a +33 or +44 number costs that market's rate, which InfiQ publishes for every market.
E.164 is the one format phone APIs agree on: a +, the country code, then the number — no spaces, no leading 0.
Any format works: spaces, dashes, brackets, a 0 or 00 prefix.
Market brief
From Rajasthan Tourism's Shekhawati page, Invest India's ODOP list and IBEF's Rajasthan profile; the havelis' dates are general background from Wikipedia.
Fatehpur is a town of Sikar district in the Shekhawati region, midway between Sikar and Bikaner on National Highway 52, served by Fatehpur Shekhawati station (FPS).[4]
Rajasthan Tourism says the Kayamkhani Nawab Fateh Mohd established the city in 1508 and built its fort in 1516, that it once served as the capital of Sikar, and that it is now known as the culture capital of Shekhawati.[1]
It names the Dwarkadheesh Mandir, the Singhania Haveli, the Nadine Le Prince Haveli and the Fatehchand Haveli as the town's most notable sights.[1]
The Nadine Le Prince Haveli is the Nand Lal Devra Haveli of 1802, restored by the French artist as a gallery for Shekhawati painters; the Goenka Haveli of 1870 is known for its frescoes of Krishna, and the Saraf Haveli for its carved wooden doors.[4]
Shekhawati's painted havelis mostly date from the 18th century and the first half of the 20th, and the state's tourism department holds the Shekhawati Festival every March.[1]
The nearest airport is Jaipur, 113 km from Shekhawati; direct buses run from Delhi and other cities of Rajasthan, and trains from Delhi and Jaipur.[1]
Invest India's ODOP list names wooden furniture products for Sikar district; IBEF calls tourism a key driver of Rajasthan's economy and lists handicrafts among its key industries.[2],[3]
Four businesses that live off the painted walls and the district's wood.
Visitors come for the havelis and in larger numbers for the Shekhawati Festival in March.[1]
Walks take in the Singhania, Fatehchand and Nadine Le Prince havelis and the Dwarkadheesh Mandir; many guests arrive by road from Jaipur's airport.[1]
The Nadine Le Prince Haveli has been a gallery for Shekhawati painters since its restoration, and visitors buy work to be sent on.[4]
Wooden furniture products are Sikar district's ODOP entry, sold to buyers who choose from photos before they order.[2]

Plan prices are monthly, in rupees, excluding GST; yearly billing is two months free. Messages are charged per delivered message on top of the plan, at the rate for the recipient’s country. Full details: InfiQ pricing. Guests on foreign numbers are charged at their own market's rate from InfiQ's published list, still invoiced in rupees with GST to your Rajasthan GSTIN.
Work out your own monthly cost by message type.
Calculate your exact costMost of Fatehpur's customers read Hindi; its visitors from abroad and its buyers' offices read English.
Shekhawati's own speech is not a Meta template language, so templates go in Hindi or English while staff reply in whatever a guest writes. Each language is a separate template under the same name, each approved by Meta before it is sent; InfiQ's own support works in English and Hindi.
| Language | Meta code | Use it for |
|---|---|---|
| Hindi | hi | Families, pilgrims and furniture buyers across Rajasthan |
| English (India) | en_IN | Indian visitors, invoices and gallery receipts |

On InfiQ
Matched to the guest register above.
InfiQ publishes its per-message rate for every Meta market in rupees, ex-GST, so the cost of messaging customers abroad is known before you send.
Every foreign guest's number is priced from InfiQ's published per-market rates in rupees, so a guesthouse knows a +33 or +44 message's cost before it sends.
Draft, submit and track WhatsApp message templates for Meta's approval, starting from a library of 1,000+ ready templates in 27 categories.
Approve the booking confirmation and pickup reminder once in Hindi and English, then reuse them for every guest of the season.
Each contact's opt-in source and time are recorded, STOP replies are enforced at platform level (even against later imports), and the audit trail exports.
Each guest's yes is stored with its date and source, so a festival offer goes only to past guests who agreed, and STOP replies are enforced.
