A block maker's busiest weeks are the ones before a print run, when the same printers write two and three times a day. Each of their messages restarts the window, so most of that traffic is replies, not templates.

From the Gandhinagar district website, IFFCO's page on its Kalol unit, the Invest India ODOP list and IBEF's Gujarat profile, with the town's roads and rail from the encyclopaedia.
Gandhinagar district covers 2,140 sq km in 4 talukas, 293 revenue villages and 4 municipalities, with a population of 13,91,753 and average literacy of 84.16%, as the district site gives them.[1]
IFFCO's Kalol unit was commissioned in 1974; its ammonia plant started on 5 November 1974 and its urea plant on 31 January 1975.[3]
The unit now has a capacity of 1,100 tonnes of ammonia and 1,650 tonnes of urea a day, has made only neem-coated urea since January 2015, and runs a nano fertiliser plant at Kalol.[3]
The district economy page (last updated 2018) names public-sector services, electrical and electronics, textiles, ceramics, food processing and office stationery, with about eight thousand small industries employing nearly 40,000 people.[2]
Its major small-scale sectors are textiles, wood products, mineral-based industries and engineering.[2]
The ODOP list names software and financial services as Gandhinagar's primary product and wood work and block making as its secondary one; IBEF notes India's first IFSC at GIFT City in Gandhinagar.[4],[5]
Kalol lies on State Highway 41 between Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar and Mehsana; Kalol Junction is on the Ahmedabad–Mehsana line, and industries cluster at nearby Chhatral and on the town's east side.[6]
