A business day in Hinganghat

WhatsApp Business API for Hinganghat's cotton yard, yarn units and dal mills

Wardha became a district of its own in 1862 because its cotton needed watching, and Hinganghat still trades it. Growers ask the rate, buyers ask for the truck, and each answer is a different kind of WhatsApp message.

  1. 07:30

Growers bring cotton to the yard, and the first ones ask the day's rate on WhatsApp.

  2. 12:00

A trading firm's accounts desk sends weight and payment slips for the morning's purchases.

  3. 15:00

A dal mill confirms a wholesaler's order and sends the bill from its books.

  4. 18:00

A yarn unit's dispatch desk sends the truck number and invoice to a buyer.

  5. 20:30

A turmeric seller answers a buyer in Nagpur about Waigaon turmeric stock.

For Hinganghat's cotton traders and commission agents, the cotton-yarn units of Wardha district, the dal, soybean and oil mills around the town, and sellers of Waigaon turmeric: which messages are replies, utility, marketing or login codes, who may receive each, which templates to write in Marathi and Hindi, and what each costs in rupees.

Five Hinganghat messages, sorted

Meta prices every message by its category, and the category also decides who may receive it. Focus a cell to see why each of five Hinganghat messages lands where it does.

Two questions settle every row. Did the grower or buyer write in the last 24 hours? Then you reply freely at the service rate. If not, what does the message do: confirm something already bought or ordered, sell something new, or carry a code? That decides the template's category and who may receive it.

The 24-hour service window explains the first question; the rate for each category is in the pricing block below.

Hinganghat and Wardha in seven lines

From the Wardha district website, the Invest India ODOP list and IBEF's Maharashtra profile, with the town's river, roads and mills from the encyclopaedia.

Wardha district covers 6,310 sq km, with 1,387 villages and a population of 13,00,774; Marathi and Hindi are its languages.[1],[2]

Wardha was part of Nagpur district until 1862, when it was made a separate charge because the valuable cotton industry of the Wardha valley needed special supervision; its headquarters moved from Kaotha, near Pulgaon, to Wardha in 1866.[2]

The ODOP list names cotton yarn as Wardha's primary product and Waigaon turmeric as its secondary one.[4]

IBEF lists textiles and food and agro processing among Maharashtra's key industries, and records an October 2024 MoU worth US$ 89.30 million for textiles at the Karanja (Ghadge) industrial area in Wardha district.[5]

Wardha station is a junction on the Howrah–Nagpur–Mumbai and New Delhi–Nagpur–Chennai lines, and Nagpur's airport is about two hours' drive from Wardha.[3]

The Wena surrounds Hinganghat on two sides, NH44 passes through it, and its station is on the Delhi–Chennai main line; its municipal council dates from 1873.[6]

The town is a centre of the cotton trade, with a soybean oil industry and many small and medium dal and oil mills nearby.[6]

Who in Hinganghat sends what

Four trades that run on the cotton calendar and the highway.

Cotton traders and commission agents

Hinganghat is a centre of the cotton trade, and the growers who sell there want the day's rate and their payment on record.[6],[2]

  • Day's rate in reply
  • Weight and payment slips
  • Truck loading notes to buyers

Spinning and yarn units

Cotton yarn is Wardha's ODOP product, sold to weavers and garment makers who want the truck's details before it arrives.[4],[5]

  • Order confirmations
  • Dispatch notes with invoice
  • Payment reminders

Dal, soybean and oil mills

Small and medium dal and oil mills and a soybean oil industry surround the town, selling to wholesalers and shops.[6]

  • Bills from the accounts desk
  • Dealer-app login codes
  • Festival offers to buyers who opted in

Waigaon turmeric sellers

Waigaon turmeric is the district's second ODOP product, sold by growers and traders to buyers who order a season at a time.[4]

  • Stock and rate replies
  • Parcel and courier notes
  • New-crop notes to buyers who opted in

Marathi at the yard, Hindi and Telugu on the highway

Meta approves each template once per language. A Hinganghat firm writes to growers and local shops in Marathi, to buyers and drivers from the north in Hindi, and keeps a Telugu version for buyers from the south who prefer it.

Inside the 24-hour window after a grower writes, staff reply in Varhadi, Marathi or any language without a template. InfiQ's own support team works in English and Hindi.

Questions Hinganghat businesses ask

Growers at the Hinganghat cotton yard ask our firm for the day's rate on WhatsApp. Is each answer a template?
No. When a grower writes first, the rate is a reply inside the 24-hour window, at ₹0.145 per message, with no template needed. The weight and payment slip you send later, after the chat has gone quiet, is a utility template at ₹0.19.
Our yarn unit near Hinganghat sends trucks of cotton yarn to weavers in other states. Can each buyer get the dispatch details?
Yes, for buyers who asked for order updates. A note with the buyer's own order, cones or bales, invoice and vehicle number is a utility template at ₹0.19. Your dispatch sheet can send it through InfiQ's developer API, included on Growth and an add-on on Lite.
Our dal mill on NH44 at Hinganghat keeps its books in Busy. Can bills reach wholesalers in Nagpur on WhatsApp?
Yes. InfiQ's Busy integration sends invoices and payment reminders on WhatsApp, with no integration fee. Each is a utility template at ₹0.19, as long as it carries no offer for a new pack or a festival rate.
We sell Waigaon turmeric from Wardha district. Can we tell last year's buyers when the new crop is ready?
Only buyers who agreed to receive offers. A new-crop note is a marketing template at ₹0.94, and having bought last year is not that agreement. Ask for the yes, record its date and source, and note that the DPDP Act's consent duties apply from 13 May 2027.
Cotton buyers from Telangana write to our Hinganghat firm in Telugu. Can our templates be in Telugu?
Yes. Telugu (te) is a Meta template language, so keep an approved Telugu version of each template beside the Marathi and Hindi ones; each is reviewed separately. Replies inside the 24-hour window need no template, in any language.
Our soybean oil unit in Hinganghat gives dealers an app to place orders. What does each sign-in code cost?
A one-time passcode is an authentication template at ₹0.14 per delivered message to an Indian number. Keep it to the code and its expiry; order confirmations go separately as utility templates, and offers only to dealers who opted in.
