WhatsApp Business API for Banswara's pilgrims, marble units and sculptors

The Mahi breaks into islands around Banswara, and old writings call it the city of a hundred islands. Pilgrims come to its temples and fairs from three states, so the first question for a local business is which language to write in.

State
Rajasthan

For the guesthouses, taxis and bus counters that carry pilgrims to Tripura Sundari and the Mangarh fair, Banswara's marble-products units, the Sompura sculptors of Talwara and the stalls of the Ghotiaamba fair: which language each template needs on the official WhatsApp Business API, and what each message costs.

Which language should this Banswara template be in?

Rajasthan Tourism says the Mangarh fair draws tribal pilgrims from Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat, and marble buyers write from further still. Meta approves each template once per language, so answer the questions to see which versions a Banswara business should submit.

Most of a pilgrim's questions, the room, the road to Mangarh, the time at the temple, are answered as replies after the pilgrim writes, and replies need no template in any language. The language choice matters for the messages you send first: confirmations, pickups and reminders.

The 24-hour service window explains which messages count as replies.

Depth 0 of up to 2. Circles are questions, squares are outcomes.

All possible outcomes (5)
  • Gujarati (gu), with a Hindi version

A room confirmation or a taxi pickup in Gujarati, approved beside the Hindi one, so each family gets the version it reads.

Path: “A pilgrim or visitor coming for a temple or fair” → “Gujarat, for Mangarh or Tripura Sundari”

  • Hindi (hi)

Bookings, bus boarding times and fair-day reminders in Hindi for visitors from Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh.

Path: “A pilgrim or visitor coming for a temple or fair” → “Elsewhere in Rajasthan or Madhya Pradesh”

  • English (India) (en_IN), with Hindi

Quotes, dispatch notices and invoices for builders' and dealers' offices; Hindi for the site supervisor.

Path: “A buyer of marble products or a sculpture” → “In India”

  • English (en)

Order and shipping notices for a buyer abroad, billed at that country's rate.

Path: “A buyer of marble products or a sculpture” → “Abroad”

  • Template in Hindi, reply in their language

Send the first message as a Hindi template; once they answer, staff can reply in the language they write in for 24 hours.

Path: “Someone who writes in a language Meta has no template for”

A planning aid. A template can only be sent in a language Meta supports and has approved for you; replies inside the 24-hour window can be in any language.

Banswara in seven lines

From Rajasthan Tourism's Banswara page, Invest India's ODOP list and IBEF's Rajasthan profile.

The name is traced to the bamboo that once grew here, or to the Bhil ruler Bansia, who was defeated by Jagmal Singh, Banswara's first Maharaval.[1]

The Mahi runs through the region with islands along it, and dams and canals have been built on it under the Mahi Bajaj Sagar project; the Kagadi pick-up weir is 3 km from the city on the Ratlam road.[1]

Tripura Sundari, known as Tartai Mata, is one of the Shakti Peeths, with a black-stone idol of eighteen hands; twelve and a half Swayambhu Shivalingas give the town the name Little Kashi.[1]

At Mangarh Dham the Bhil saint Govind Guru gathered his followers, many of whom died fighting the British, and the hill is called the Jallianwala Bagh of Rajasthan.[1]

The Mangarh fair falls on Margashirsha Purnima, the Ghotiaamba fair around March, and Bhil families make up more than half the district's population; buses run to Banswara from Delhi, Jaipur and Bharatpur.[1]

Invest India's One District One Product list names marble products for Banswara, and Sompura sculptors carve stone by the roadside at Talwara.[2],[1]

IBEF lists marble, tourism and handicrafts among Rajasthan's key industries.[3]

What a Banswara business runs on InfiQ

Matched to the languages and trades above.

  • Template manager and library

Draft, submit and track WhatsApp message templates for Meta's approval, starting from a library of 1,000+ ready templates in 27 categories.

Submit the booking confirmation in Hindi, Gujarati and English from the library and follow Meta's review of each version before fair week.

  • Consent records and opt-out enforcement

Each contact's opt-in source and time are recorded, STOP replies are enforced at platform level (even against later imports), and the audit trail exports.

A stall's QR or a guesthouse register records each opt-in with its source and time, so next year's fair offer goes only to people who agreed, and STOP is enforced.

  • Shared team inbox

One WhatsApp number answered by a team: 10 users on Lite and 25 on Growth, agent and manager roles, transfers, private notes, labels and canned replies.

A guesthouse's desk and its taxi drivers share one number in fair week, with notes on each pilgrim's arrival.

  • Published per-market rates

InfiQ publishes its per-message rate for every Meta market in rupees, ex-GST, so the cost of messaging customers abroad is known before you send.

A marble unit or sculptor with a buyer abroad sees the rupee rate for that country code before sending the shipping notice.
