WhatsApp Business API for Kopargaon's classes, dairies, sugar offices and cabs
Kopargaon lies on the Godavari (गोदावरी), with a 13th-century Shiva temple at Kokamthan and an education society that grew from the town in 1983. Most of its chats begin with a customer tapping a link.
For Kopargaon, the Ahilyanagar-district town on the Godavari: coaching classes and hostels around the Sanjivani group's colleges, dairies and sugar offices in a district whose ODOP entries are cane sugar and dairy, and the cabs that take visitors to the Kokamthan temple. How a wa.me link starts the chat, and what each later message costs.
See it work
A Kopargaon poster, packet or card, turned into a chat
A coaching class's admission poster, a dairy's sticker on the milk packet, a cab desk's visiting card: each can carry a wa.me link or QR code that opens a chat with a first line already typed. Pick a sample to see the link.
The number in the link is the business's own, written as digits only; the first line is URL-encoded, so Marathi and Hindi text survive the trip into a QR code. Nothing is sent until the customer taps Send.
That tap matters. The customer's message opens a 24-hour window in which the class, the dairy or the cab desk can reply freely, in any language, at the service rate. It is not, by itself, a yes to offers later: ask for that separately.
Number and first line in, wa.me link out
A wa.me link opens a WhatsApp chat with a number, optionally with a pre-filled message.
Format: number | message
- Number
- +919000001401
- Encoded text
- 324 chars
- Stripped 2 separators (spaces, dashes, dots, brackets).
- wa.me takes the full international number as digits only — no +, no 00, no spaces.
- The message was URL-encoded (40 characters → 324) and pre-fills the chat; the customer still presses Send.
Kopargaon in six lines
From the Ahilyanagar district administration's pages, the Sanjivani group's site and Invest India's ODOP list; the town's river and status are general background from Wikipedia.
Kopargaon is a town and municipality on the banks of the Godavari, a taluka of the district and the name of an assembly constituency.[6]
The district's official site uses the name Ahilyanagar, with Ahmednagar in brackets, and links the notification of the change; it covers 17,048 sq km and lists Marathi as its language.[1]
The district lists the Kokamthan Shiva temple, Kopargaon, as a 13th-century temple with a double-diamond ground plan.[2]
The Sanjivani Rural Education Society was established in Kopargaon in 1983 under Shankarraoji Kolhe; its group lists Sanjivani University, engineering, pharmacy, ayurveda and management colleges, a polytechnic and schools in Kopargaon, Shirdi and Vaijapur.[4]
The district points travellers to regular trains from Shirdi, Mumbai and Pune, and to Pune and Aurangabad for domestic flights.[3]
Invest India's ODOP list names cane sugar and dairy products (milk-based products) for the district.[5]

What a Kopargaon business runs on InfiQ
Matched to chats that start from a link.
- InfiQ Flows chatbot builder
A no-code builder for automated conversations (27 blocks, versioned publishing with rollback), priced per flow; the Growth plan includes one.
A chat opened from an admission poster can land in an InfiQ Flows menu that answers batches, fees and timings, then hands serious enquiries to a counsellor.
- Consent records and opt-out enforcement
Each contact's opt-in source and time are recorded, STOP replies are enforced at platform level (even against later imports), and the audit trail exports.
A tap on a link is not a yes to offers; InfiQ records the opt-in a parent or household gives later, with its date and source, and enforces STOP.
- WhatsApp Coexistence
Keep using the WhatsApp Business app on the same number while the API runs alongside it, within Meta's coexistence limits.
A dairy or cab desk already on the WhatsApp Business app can keep using it on the same number while the API sends bills and pickup notes.

Questions Kopargaon businesses ask
Question: Parents scan the QR code on our Kopargaon coaching class's admission poster and write to us. Is that chat a yes to sending them offers later?
Answer: No. The parent's message opens a 24-hour window for replies about batches and fees at ₹0.145 each, but it is not consent to marketing. Ask in the chat or on your form whether they want news of future batches, and send offers at ₹0.94 only to those who said yes.
Question: Households across Kopargaon start, pause and change their daily milk delivery from our dairy by WhatsApp. Do those changes need templates?
Answer: No. Each request is the customer writing to you, so your confirmations are replies at ₹0.145. The monthly bill sent at the end of the month, when the chat may be quiet, is a utility template at ₹0.19, approved in Marathi (mr) and, if needed, Hindi (hi).
Question: Visitors ask our Kopargaon cab desk about the 13th-century Kokamthan Shiva temple. Can our answers include photos and a map pin?
Answer: Yes. The visitor wrote first, so the fare, a photo of the temple and a location pin are replies at ₹0.145 each for 24 hours, with no template. If they book, the pickup confirmation sent later is a utility template at ₹0.19.
Question: Our Kopargaon taxi firm also drives pilgrims to Shirdi. Can the wa.me link on our visiting card fill in 'Shirdi pickup' for them?
Answer: Yes. A wa.me link can carry a pre-filled first line, URL-encoded so Marathi or Hindi survive, and the pilgrim still presses Send. A link is not a template and costs nothing; your answers once they write are replies at ₹0.145.
Question: Growers write to our sugar factory's office in Kopargaon taluka in Marathi, but the seasonal harvest crews read Hindi. Can one template serve both?
Answer: One template name can, with two approved versions: Marathi (mr) for growers and Hindi (hi) for the crews, each reviewed by Meta on its own. Send each person the version they read; each delivery is a utility message at ₹0.19.
Question: Students at Sanjivani's colleges in Kopargaon sign in to our hostel's app. What does each login passcode on WhatsApp cost?
Answer: A one-time passcode is an authentication template at ₹0.14 per delivered message, which Meta treats as identity verification. Room allotments and fee notes are a different category, sent as utility templates at ₹0.19.
