What Message Template means
A message template is a standardised message format that Meta reviews and approves before it can be sent. Templates are required whenever a business initiates a conversation, or replies to a customer more than 24 hours after their last message — that is, any time outside the customer-service window.
Templates can contain variable placeholders (like {{1}} for a customer name or order number), a header, a body, a footer and interactive buttons. Each template is submitted in a category — Marketing, Utility or Authentication — which determines how it may be used and how each delivered message is billed.
InfiQ offers a template library with over 1,000 ready-to-edit examples and a template playground to draft, preview and validate templates before submitting them for Meta approval.
