What Embedded Signup means
Embedded Signup is the Meta-hosted onboarding flow that a partner like InfiQ launches so a business can get onto the WhatsApp Business API without leaving the partner's dashboard. It appears as a Facebook login popup where the business signs in with its Meta account, picks or creates its WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) and phone number, and authorises the partner — all in a few minutes.
Because the flow runs on Meta's own infrastructure and uses OAuth, the business grants access without ever sharing a Meta password with the partner, and Meta captures the permissions and account details directly. It is the modern replacement for slower, manual onboarding that involved back-and-forth over credentials and account IDs.
