Can I use my existing WhatsApp number?

Yes, but it must be removed from the WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business app first. A planned tutorial covers migration step by step; until it ships, our onboarding team walks you through it on any plan.

Does embedded signup require business verification first?

No. You can connect a number and start messaging with initial sending limits straight away. Meta business verification raises those limits and can be completed afterwards.

What is a WhatsApp Business Account (WABA)?
